Maths and More

I went away for a week for the residential part of the OU maths course I'm doing, which was nerdy and fun. Was at the university of Nottingham (sheep do not stop crossing the road even if you do make eye contact).

Last weekend was Richard's annual birthday walk, and Maria and Roy's near Sandsend. Had a good walk in the sun, and saw a lot of old friends from around York.

Still trying to find a more interesting engineering software job; have a few leads but am not quite sure I'm enthusiastic enough about what they are to come over at the interview.

Off to GreenBelt tomorrow; hope to see more old and new friends.

Going on

Catching up a bit; on the 17th July I went to a capoeira workshop, and played my pants off.

For the next weekend (and my birthday) I went to the Forest of Dean camping with my parents and sister and her family.

Last Thursday I had one job interview in Malvern, then for the weekend went to WOMAD, saw Youssou NDour, then on Monday had an interview in Edinburgh, and on Tuesday on in Farnham, Surrey.

Then I had a sleep.

Still wondering how to move on.
